Companions that are hard to like, and that don't really like you at first, are some of the most interesting people in Bioware's catalogue (Bastila, HK-47, Wrex, etc.) and Morrigan takes the cake and runs with it in terms of skepticism to the player. She's an incredibly well written character, one who has her own sense of agency and will go well out of her way to make her goals and feelings known to The Warden (and The Inquisitor). ![]() Whether it be Origins or it's DLC's, her role as "advisor kind of but also maybe an enemy?" in Inquisition, and her mysterious absence in the years in between, Morrigan exists around a lot of the same intrigue that the lore and wonder Dragon Age is known for. Morrigan is, for a lot of fans, synonymous with the Dragon Age series as a whole. ![]()
